EEA Submission Information

Intent to Enter Is Open

All engineering or surveying firms are eligible to enter.  Member firms can enter projects from any region/area worldwide.  Non-member firms from Virginia or any other state may enter projects that are in Virginia.   Multiple entries are permitted.   A completed entry form must be signed by both the entrant and the client/owner (senior executives or officials), verifying that the project was substantially completed and ready for use between November 1, 2024, and October 31, 2026.

Each entry must consist of three components:
1.  Intent to Enter online application and Letter of Intent
2.  Project materials submitted through the EEA online portal (information provided after submitting the letter of intent to submit)
3.  Photographic display panel mail to ACEC Virginia

• Once you submit the Intent to Enter, you will receive an invitation to complete the full entry.

Dates to Remember

• Intent to Enter - Due September 16, 2026
• Full Entries completed via online EEA Portal - deadline November 6, 2026
• Judging Panel - November 20, 2026
• Engineering Excellence Awards, February 4, 2027
