It has been a pleasure to serve as the President of ACEC/VA this year. I have learned a great deal and appreciate the prior leadership provided by Tim Groover and Bruce Sadler, who set the stage for ACEC/VA to advance in strategy, leadership, advocacy and education.
ACEC Members More Successful than Non-Members
ACEC National reports that ACEC Member Firms have grown faster than non-ACEC engineering firms over the past four years, based on analysis of the ENR 500 rankings. From 2012 to 2015, ACEC Member Firms on the ENR 500 increased their market share from 68.3 percent to 76.3 percent.
2016 QBS Awards Program
ACEC and NSPE are accepting nominations for the 2016 QBS Awards Program, which honors public entities, private organizations, and/or individuals for exemplary use of the QBS selection process at the federal, state, and local levels.

The commonly used methods of valuation fall into one of three general approaches: the asset-based approach, the income approach, and the market approach.
