ACEC/VA Signs Onto Maryland Amicus Brief
Last month, ACEC/VA was asked to join other A-E industry groups in an amicus brief to be filed in connection with a professional liability case pending before the Maryland Court of Appeals, Balfour Beatty Infrastructure, Inc. v. Rummel Klepper & Kahl LLC. In this case, the contractor, Balfour Beatty, sued the project engineer, RKK, alleging both professional negligence and negligent misrepresentation.

Two Year Procurement Study Revealed
On June 13, 2016, Joint Legislative Audit and Review Commission’s (JLARC) briefed the joint legislative committee on their report on the Development and Management of State Contracts. ECVPAC Golf Classic
The 2016 Golf Classic raised an estimated $11,000 for the Engineering Companies of Virginia Political Action Committee (ECVPAC) and drew out dozens of participants to the Foundry Golf Club. Thank you to everyone who attended and sponsored the 2016 Golf Classic!
