  • Dewberry’s Shandi Treloar Appointed to Private Sector Chair for the National Emergency Management Association

    Shandi Treloar, an associate with Dewberry, has been appointed to serve as the Private Sector Chair for the National Emergency Management Association (NEMA). Treloar will serve two years as the Private Sector Chair, where she will engage with emergency management leaders at federal and state levels. Treloar will apply her knowledge and expertise in emergency management to provide a private sector perspective to committee discussions and deliberations and help NEMA private sector initiatives move forward. She will also assist in promoting the culture of the private sector in preparedness and resilient community-building efforts. 

    NEMA is the professional association of emergency management directors from all 50 states, eight territories, and the District of Columbia, as a source of information, support, and expertise for emergency management professionals at all levels of government and the private sector.

  • Dewberry’s Douglas Frost Appointed to GENEDGE ALLIANCE Board

    Douglas Frost, PE, a senior vice president with Dewberry, has been appointed by Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe to the GENEDGE ALLIANCE Board of Trustees. Frost will serve a four-year term on the Board of Trustees and will use his engineering and technology experience to assist GENEDGE with addressing engineering innovation and industry technology challenges and expanding its support of Virginia-based industries.
