    Leading the Leadership Team
Every person on your leadership team needs to model the attitudes and behaviors that you are expecting of others in your organization, be cohesive in their leadership approach and be held accountable by each other and by you. Leadership teams are quick to identify leadership/performance gaps in other areas of the organization but may need more leadership from you when taking a hard look at themselves. The investment the team makes pays dividends (improved trust, communication, collaboration, efficiency, resource management, recruitment, retention and more) across the board. In this interactive session, we will guide you through our process for assessing your leadership team and fine-tuning your leadership approach for guiding and growing this level of leaders within your organization.

    Key Take-a-ways:
    • Objectively assess your leadership team and team members
    • Objectively assess your leadership of the leadership team
    • Increase team functionality/effectiveness
    • Clarify purpose, values, priorities, roles and responsibilities
    • Develop action plan to fine-tune your leadership approach for the leadership team, measure performance improvement/ROI and create a sustainable culture of cohesiveness, clarity & commitment

    About the Facilitators:
Melissa joined Catch Your Limit Consulting as a partner in 1999. Her expertise in organizational challenges centers on change initiatives, creating engaged cultures, recruiting and growing the best leaders, building strong teams/leaders as well as succession planning. Melissa develops custom category and organizational leadership programs. She is also a contributing author/blogger on a variety of leadership topics. In addition to her leadership and organizational management practice, Melissa is an experienced and sought-after facilitator for strategic planning and board/staff development. As a nationally recognized speaker, Melissa understands the importance of leaving an audience with actionable strategies applicable to participants both in their work and personal lives.

Tom Laughon, founder of Catch Your Limit and a leading expert on creativity and strategic thinking, has proven that a consultant doesn’t need wingtips and a tie to be a trusted and effective advisor to organizations large and small. His creative journey from lead singer in a rock-n-roll band, eventually migrating to leadership and management consultant, strategist, keynote speaker, facilitator, professor and writer is a fascinating one. In 1999, Tom founded Catch Your Limit. Tom and his team guide and grow leaders, including Fortune 500 companies, national associations, and any organization willing to work hard, and who have the drive to “catch their limit” in the areas of leadership development, creativity, innovation, teaming and positive change. Regardless of the program, Tom and his team believe strongly that their custom designed and delivered programs will bring significant long-term return to organizations –both large and small. His commitment to “practice what he preaches” has made Catch Your Limit a petridish for round-the-clock experimentation. Tom’s experience includes being an adjunct professor for over ten years at Florida State University and for three years at Virginia Commonwealth University’s da Vinci Center for Innovation.
